Our treatment which is non-AA based uses cognitive hypnotherapy techniques at its core. Our clients learn tools for recovery based on the latest scientific research and evidence-based proven techniques and Alistair Rhind, our Director of Addiction Therapy, has 35 years successful clinical experience.

Freedom Therapy offers individual face-to-face help for clients with problem drinking. We provide therapeutic ongoing help and support through a combination of telephone, Skype/webcam and email therapy. We also supply high quality, professionally produced individual hypnotherapy audio recordings for home use by clients between sessions.

For problems with alcohol we anticipate client contact for between 6 - 12 hours spread over an appropriate time period to suit the individual. Our treatment is built upon a thorough initial assessment and is always individually based and client centered. For many clients total abstinence may be advisable, but others may chose a temporary period of abstinence with a return to controlled drinking at a later time.
